Using This Website

By using this website you agree to these terms. The website is for informational purposes and to allow you to contact us to request services. You must not misuse the website or use it for anything unlawful.

Our Services

We provide plumbing, heating, drainage, gas engineering and related services in Glasgow and surrounding areas. All gas work is carried out by Gas Safe registered engineers. Our Gas Safe registration details are available on request and can be verified at gassaferegister.co.uk.

Quotes and Pricing

All prices are provided as quotes before work begins. A quote is not binding until accepted by both parties. We will not start work until you have agreed to the price. Final invoiced amounts will match the agreed quote unless additional work is required that was not visible or known at the time of quoting, in which case we will inform you and get your agreement before proceeding.

Workmanship Guarantee

We guarantee our workmanship as follows: repairs to parts and labour are guaranteed for 3 months from the date of completion, full installations are guaranteed for 12 months from the date of completion, and new boiler installations carry the manufacturer warranty which ranges from 2 to 10 years depending on the brand and model. The guarantee covers defects in our workmanship only. It does not cover damage caused by misuse, fair wear and tear, interference by third parties, or circumstances outside our control such as freezing temperatures or flooding. Payment

Payment is due on completion of work unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept bank transfer, cash, and card. We reserve the right to charge interest on overdue invoices at 8% above the Bank of England base rate under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts Act 1998.

Cancellations

If you need to cancel or rearrange a booked appointment please give us as much notice as possible. We reserve the right to charge for time and materials already committed to a job if cancellation is made less than 24 hours before the agreed start time.

Limitation of Liability

Our liability to you is limited to the value of the work carried out. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraudulent misrepresentation.

Disputes

If you have a complaint about our work please contact us first at contact@moplumbingservices.co.uk so we have the opportunity to put things right. If we cannot resolve the dispute we will work with you to find a fair resolution.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by Scots law and any disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always on this page.
