A Typical Callout in Partick
A call at about half one in the morning from a top floor flat off Dumbarton Road. The tenant had woken up to water coming through the ceiling light fitting, which is the point at which most people stop looking for the stopcock and start ringing. If water is coming in, the two useful things you can do are turn it off and get it away from electrics, in that order.
