A shower that has gone weak, gone cold, or started tripping the fuse is usually one failed component rather than a shower that needs replacing. The useful thing is knowing which, because the answers range from a five-pound cartridge to a new unit. Mo and Kyle diagnose it first and tell you the honest range before anything comes off the wall.
Tell us what's up, we usually get back within the hour with a clear price.
What changed, when, and whether it is only the shower. Five minutes here separates a five-pound cartridge from a new unit, and stops a part being fitted to a problem it will not fix.
Pressure and flow measured where the symptom is weak flow, because the water reaching the shower is as often the cause as the shower itself.
Part fitted and tested, or the replacement priced if the unit is genuinely finished. Electrical work on an electric shower carried out and certified by a qualified electrician.
Full flow and temperature test, and where the valve was the fault, checked with another outlet running so the problem cannot come back the first time someone uses a tap.
Here's what shower repairsfrom Mo's team includes.
Every shower repair, clear price once we know the fault, work guaranteed for 12 months.
Mo and Kyle do the shower repair work, with our qualified electricians on the circuit side of electric showers. The habit that saves customers money here is measuring the supply before condemning the unit, because weak flow gets blamed on the shower far more often than it deserves. Twenty-five years across Glasgow tenements means a fair number of those calls end with us telling someone their shower is fine and the system is the problem, which is a smaller job than the one they rang about.
Shower faults tend to arrive with company. Scale is the obvious one in Glasgow, since moderately hard water shortens element life and blocks shower heads, and a head that has furred up gives exactly the same weak spray as a failing unit for a fraction of the cost to fix. Slow drainage in the tray is worth mentioning separately, because it is a drainage job rather than a shower one and it is much easier to sort while we are already in the bathroom. And where a shower has been leaking behind the wall rather than just dripping at the head, the damage matters more than the shower does, so tell us if there is any damp on the other side of that wall.
We diagnose first, then give you a clear price, and that price is what goes on the invoice. On shower repairs the honest range is wide, which is exactly why we do not quote before seeing it. A cartridge or a seal is a small job with a part off the van. A thermostatic valve is more. An electric shower element sits higher again and brings the electrical side in. Where the diagnosis shows the unit is genuinely at the end of its life, we will say so and price the replacement rather than charging you for a repair we do not expect to hold.
This is the question worth settling before anyone buys a part, because a surprising share of shower complaints are not shower faults at all. If the shower has gradually got weaker over months and other outlets in the property have also lost a bit, that is the supply rather than the unit, and replacing the shower will change nothing. If it went weak suddenly, or if it is only the shower while the bath tap still runs strongly, that points at the unit or a blocked head. Temperature problems split the same way: swings when other taps are used mean the valve is not thermostatic, whereas no hot at all on an electric shower usually means the element. We check pressure and flow as part of the diagnosis rather than assuming, and if the answer turns out to be the system rather than the shower we will tell you, even though that is the job we cannot sell you a part for.

“Our radiator pipe was bent and leaking. They answered straight away… Guy was here an hour later and he was wearing ID, very professional, patient and kind. We just got a new carpet in this room and he done an amazing job on getting little to no water on it. Couldn't recommend enough, price was reasonable.”

“We lost heating just in time for the coldest day of the year with a baby in the house… When I contacted them they were ready to dispatch that night. Fixed by the afternoon. Quoted that morning and no extra charges were added. Honestly cannot thank them enough.”

“As a small business owner, I needed a drainage company that could respond quickly. The team attended first thing in the morning, cleared the blocked drain and carried out a full CCTV survey. All documentation emailed across promptly. Professional, efficient and great value for money.”
