The fault we get called back to on somebody else's dishwasher installation is nearly always the same one: the waste hose run flat instead of looped high. It siphons, so the machine either empties as it fills or never fills properly, and the appliance gets blamed for a plumbing mistake. Mo and Kyle plumb it in with the loop where it belongs and run a full cycle before leaving.
Tell us what's up, we usually get back within the hour with a clear price.
Supply, waste arrangement, and whether there is an isolation valve. Also whether the machine is cold fill or takes hot, which decides the connection.
Supply connected, waste secured and looped high so the machine cannot siphon itself out. This is the step that stops the most common fault before it happens.
Freestanding levelled and pushed back square, integrated aligned in the aperture with the door panel hung to match the run.
Not a fill and stop. A full cycle is the only way to see a leak at pump-out pressure, which is when they show.
Here's what dishwasher installationfrom Mo's team includes.
Every dishwasher installation, clear price before we start, work guaranteed for 12 months.
Mo and Kyle fit these. It is a short job and the value is entirely in two details: the waste loop and the full cycle test. Skip the loop and the machine misbehaves in a way that looks like an appliance fault and gets diagnosed as one, sometimes at the cost of a service call on a machine that was never broken. Skip the cycle test and a leak that only appears at pump-out pressure shows up after we have gone.
A dishwasher going in tends to surface the state of the plumbing under the sink, which is where most of them connect. Slow drainage at the sink will get worse once a dishwasher is pumping into the same waste, so it is worth mentioning at booking rather than after. Old isolation valves that no longer turn are the other common find, and they matter because they are what lets the next job happen without draining anything. If the kitchen is due a wider refit, both are much cheaper dealt with while the units are out.
We give you a clear price before starting and that price is what goes on the invoice. A freestanding swap onto existing connections with an isolation valve already fitted is the quick end and priced accordingly. What adds to it is an integrated machine, because of the door hanging and alignment, fitting an isolation valve where there is none, or running supply and waste to a position that has never had a machine. Old appliance removal is priced separately and openly. Where we find the existing waste arrangement is the reason your last machine misbehaved, we will show you rather than quietly correcting it and saying nothing.
Freestanding is cheaper to buy, cheaper to fit and far easier to replace, because the next one slides into the same gap without anybody touching the units. Integrated looks better in a fitted kitchen and hides the machine entirely, at the cost of a more involved installation and a replacement that has to match the aperture. The practical point most people do not consider until later is that an integrated machine ties you to roughly the same size and door fixing next time round, which matters in ten years when the model has changed. If your kitchen is a fitted run and you care how it looks, integrated is worth it. If the machine sits at the end of a run or in a utility, freestanding is the sensible money.

“Our radiator pipe was bent and leaking. They answered straight away… Guy was here an hour later and he was wearing ID, very professional, patient and kind. We just got a new carpet in this room and he done an amazing job on getting little to no water on it. Couldn't recommend enough, price was reasonable.”

“We lost heating just in time for the coldest day of the year with a baby in the house… When I contacted them they were ready to dispatch that night. Fixed by the afternoon. Quoted that morning and no extra charges were added. Honestly cannot thank them enough.”

“As a small business owner, I needed a drainage company that could respond quickly. The team attended first thing in the morning, cleared the blocked drain and carried out a full CCTV survey. All documentation emailed across promptly. Professional, efficient and great value for money.”
