Glasgow City Centre has seen significant growth in its residential population over the last two decades. The Merchant City, the area around the High Street and Cathedral, and the blocks between Argyle Street and the river are now home to a substantial number of apartment dwellers in properties that were offices, warehouses and commercial premises in a previous life.
