About Southside
The Southside has a dense concentration of Victorian tenements with clay drainage pipes that are over a century old, making it one of Glasgow's most active areas for drain blockages and the one where we see the most shared stack problems.
The Southside of Glasgow stretches from the river south through Tradeston, Gorbals, Govanhill, Pollokshields, Shawlands, Battlefield and Cathcart.
