Accepted Answer

Yes. If a repair's going to cost more than a replacement makes sense for, we'll say so, even though the repair's the easier sale for us.

Do you offer a guarantee on repair work?

12 months on parts and labour for anything we fit. If the same fault recurs within that window, we come back and sort it at no extra cost.

Often we can narrow it down enough to bring the likely part, a specific fault code or symptom usually points somewhere. We won't quote a fixed price until we've actually seen it though, that's what the diagnostic visit is for.

Because it is about what can be verified rather than about a fault. A run that cannot be seen has never been confirmed one way or the other, and an engineer should say so rather than sign off on something they have not looked at.
