Our yard is in G3, which is the same postcode as most of Finnieston. On an emergency that would be about arrival time. On a booked repair it changes something more useful: if the part we need turns out not to be on the van, fetching it is twenty minutes rather than another appointment a week later.
Tell us what's up, we usually get back within the hour with a clear price.
Finnieston shares our own G3 postcode, so a part that is not on the van is a short trip rather than a second visit.
Finnieston runs along Argyle Street west of the motorway, tenement flats above the bars and restaurants on the strip, converted commercial buildings behind them, and newer riverside blocks down towards the Clyde and the Hydro. It is dense, it is busy, and the buildings are a real mix of ages stacked closely together.
The practical thing about it from our side is proximity. Most booked repairs finish on the first visit anywhere we work, because we ask what the appliance is before setting out and load accordingly. Where that falls down is an unusual part or an older model, and everywhere else in our coverage that means an appointment to come back. In Finnieston it usually does not, because the wholesalers and our own stock are both within a few streets.
It is a small advantage rather than a dramatic one and it is worth saying plainly rather than dressing up. Mo covers Finnieston and is Gas Safe registered. The other half of it is access, because a flat above a working kitchen or bar has its own constraints on when work can happen, and those are worth settling when you book rather than on the day.
No heat at all and it will not keep is the emergency boiler repair side, same number. This page is booked work.
Booked boiler repairs across Finnieston and the surrounding G3 streets. Manufacturer certified for Worcester Bosch, Vaillant, Baxi, Ideal and Vokera.
Drainage is Paul and Kyle on the same number.
Radiators, pumps, valves and balancing in the tenement flats and the newer riverside blocks.
Older or less common appliances occasionally need something not carried as standard. Everywhere else that is another appointment. Here it is generally a short trip while the job stays open, which is the one genuine benefit of being local rather than a claim about speed.
Where the property below is a kitchen or a bar, there are times when noise, access or an isolation is not practical. That is a scheduling question rather than a technical one, and it is better raised when booking than discovered on arrival.
In converted buildings the gas and water runs do not always respect the boundary drawn on a title deed. Establishing what is yours before anything is isolated saves turning off a business by accident.
Loading anywhere near Argyle Street at certain hours is genuinely awkward. It affects how long a visit takes rather than whether it can happen, and telling us about a permit zone or a rear lane when you book makes a real difference.
Finnieston is priced the same as everywhere else we cover. You get a clear price before any work starts and that price is what goes on the invoice. Being local does not make it cheaper and we are not going to pretend otherwise. What it does mean is fewer return visits, which is worth more than a discount. If a second fault appears once the case is off, we stop and tell you before going on.

“Our radiator pipe was bent and leaking. They answered straight away… Guy was here an hour later and he was wearing ID, very professional, patient and kind. We just got a new carpet in this room and he done an amazing job on getting little to no water on it. Couldn't recommend enough, price was reasonable.”

“We lost heating just in time for the coldest day of the year with a baby in the house… When I contacted them they were ready to dispatch that night. Fixed by the afternoon. Quoted that morning and no extra charges were added. Honestly cannot thank them enough.”

“As a small business owner, I needed a drainage company that could respond quickly. The team attended first thing in the morning, cleared the blocked drain and carried out a full CCTV survey. All documentation emailed across promptly. Professional, efficient and great value for money.”
