Kilmarnock's estate houses tend to have a newer boiler bolted onto an older system, and the mismatch between the two is where most of the faults live.

Three Things to Check Before You Ring About a Kilmarnock Boiler
Three quick things you can check before you ring, and between them they usually point at the answer. First, is the boiler itself doing anything wrong? A lockout, a fault code on the display, or a boiler that will not fire at all is the appliance. A boiler that fires normally and runs but the house is not right is nearly always the circuit. Second, is it all of the house or part of it? Every radiator cold with hot water fine means a valve, a pump or the heating side of the controls, not usually the boiler.
